On the 5th day, I learned about video editing.
I don’t have a license for a fancy video editor. It’s one of those things I’d imagine myself doing a lot more if I learned more about it, but I don’t want to pay a bunch upfront in case I don’t actually use it.
I wanted to edit a video today and discovered an open-source free product kdenlive. It’s been surprisingly good. It has a typical open-source feel (average design, strange minor bugs) but so far for my needs it’s actually worked great!
Hopefully I’ll figure out if I’d actually use this a bunch. I always imagine making more video content; it’s a really compelling way to teach stuff. Video editing feels like a huge job though.
